Top 5 Trends #3: the allseason dress

vierjahreszeiten

"a woman under the influence" doesn't feature either summer- nor winter dresses. Choosing a dress shouldn't depend on the weather. There is always something to wear under or over it.

Top 5 Trends #2: das Flausenjackerl

More upcoming trends for autumn/fall at mija t. rosa? Quite important ist something that designers like to call bolero, cape, pelerine, poncho, shoulder scarf, stola or cloak. For "a woman under the influence" I have a piece made of merino-wool and of course hand made. Amongst knitting artists there is a german word for that type of garment which I really like and have never heard of before:

the Flausenjackerl

Top 5 Trends #1: black rubber boots

Initially I was asked to sum up in 5 words what trends my current collection proposes for the upcoming season. And I didn't want to make it easy for myself and sayYuck!, that word, "trend" yuckyuckyuck. So here are 5 attempts to lift the curtain a little and reveal a few things about  "a woman under the influence" a/w 09/10.

Number 1: black rubber boots

Rubber boots are an exhaustless topic. The website http://www.rubber-boots.de/ was active from 2002 until 2006 and was solely about that congenial piece of clothing. One thing you can learn there for example:

Until the beginning of the seventies, Semperit was producing its boots at the factory for rubber products at Wimpassing south of vienna. These boots had the imprint "Made in Austria" jaust beside the Semperit Logo on the sole. Later, they were  made for the whole european makret in Slovenia, Czechia or in Germany (Semperitfactory Deggendorf in Bavaria).

The image shows a part of the shaft of these legendary Semperit rubber boots or Semperpress-boots (did't wat to lift the lid too much). Next to come: "Top 5 Trends by mija t. rosa" Number 2-4.
